57 weeks since the last update, i told you I sucked at this stuff. Anyhooooo....
A little update to what has been going on in my life since the last time. I changed jobs, I work for the devil now, the benefits are great but the deadliines are killer, and you don't wanna piss the bossman off...
Actually, I now work in the marketing department for a casino. It is a blast picking out giveaways for our customers and coming up with new and challenging ideas to make it fun for our clientel. I quit guiding, which was really sad, but it does give me more time to go and enjoy the water myself. But I really do miss guiding, I also miss living in Santa Fe, but it was for the better. Where I live now, I am merely steps from a river, so if I feel the need to get a fly on in the evening after work, it only takes 5 minutes.
Anyways, see you all in another 57 weeks!! w00t! |

Had to go back to my crappy old job for a while. It is already making me very ill. I am going to leave today after lunch and not return. I hate this place....
Of course, if I don't work until the other job becomes available, I would have to give up some of my expensive habits....like eating. Maybe I can learn to like vienna sausages [ Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<ew!>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.] Had to go back to my crappy old job for a while. It is already making me very ill. I am going to leave today after lunch and not return. I hate this place.... Of course, if I don't work until the other job becomes available, I would have to give up some of my expensive habits....like eating. Maybe I can learn to like vienna sausages <ew!> or SPAM <Ack!>. Hopefully I won't be here much longer then 2 or 3 weeks, so everybody pray for me that I find another job. |

just finished talking with an old client. I will be getting her jobs for their big presentation! A major job coup! I will also be getting a percentage on the printing. At least I won't starve this month!
Whew! does that feel good! I have already started working on her illustration for the job. Tomorrow, my printer and I will be meeting her for lunch to discuss pricing.

I quit my job yesterday, it was a long time coming (12 years), but hey! I finally did it. Now I get to look forward to worrying how I am going to pay all my bills, but at least I am happy now. I have some other offers that I am seriously considering, but most of them are a couple of months away. until then, I guess I will go work at 7 to 11 or sumthin'. But I feel much better, and I don't have an urge to bite someone's head off |
